An ambulance carrying patients to the hospital met with an accident near Panchami of Keshpur in West Medinipur district of West Bengal. Six people, including three women, died in this accident, while two people were injured.
This ambulance was going from Ghatal to Medinipur Medical College with a patient and his family. On the way, the ambulance collided with a lorry.
According to the police, the ambulance driver and the patient are safe. District Superintendent of Police Dhritiman Sarkar said that a lorry loaded with cement was going towards Keshpur.
Then the ambulance coming from Keshpur collided with the lorry while overtaking a car.
